Description:
Boschvelders were specifically developed in South Africa to thrive under local conditions. They are excellent for free-range farming, able to forage efficiently and withstand heat and rougher environments. With their mottled brown-and-white plumage, they blend easily into natural surroundings, making them less prone to predators. While not the most prolific layers, they are reliable and produce a good balance of eggs and meat.
