Description:
The Light Sussex is one of the oldest and most dependable dual-purpose chicken breeds. With its white plumage and distinctive black neck and tail feathers, it’s both attractive and practical. Calm, friendly, and easy to handle, the Sussex adapts well to confinement or free-range conditions. They are efficient foragers and excellent layers of large light-brown eggs, while also providing a good carcass for meat.
